A DAY IN THE LIFE:

Directly responsible for the promotion of Tandem Diabetes products and services within an assigned Territory in partnership with a Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist to plan and ensure achievement of sales goals.

Identifies potential customers, establishes and develops business relationships to facilitate the sales of Tandem Diabetes'' products and services, working within the limits of established policies. Uses industry sales expertise to provide account sales support and continuing education to patients, physicians and their Clinical Educators on the technical use of insulin pump therapy and special considerations related to pump therapy in the marketplace.

This is a field-based role covering North Seattle to Bellingham, as well as the Eastside, including Bellevue and Kirkland.

Territory Managers with Tandem also:

• Drive business growth by creating and executing smart territory plans.
• Spot opportunities, open doors, and build lasting partnerships with healthcare professionals (MDs, DOs, RNs, CDEs, RPhs, etc.) to create value.
• Leverage advanced sales methodologiesincluding the Challenger Selling Model and Strategic Account Managementalong with strong communication and collaboration skills to demonstrate value and accelerate revenue growth.
• Deliver product education and ongoing support to providers, patients, and clinical educators.
• Represent Tandem at events, conventions, and community outreach.
• Keep your territory organized with accurate CRM tracking and timely reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth sales and customer experiences.
• Ensure work is performed in compliance with company policies including Privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory, legal, and safety requirements.

WHAT YOULL NEED:

• Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) plus 3+ years of industry sales experience, preferably in diabetes, endocrinology, insulin infusion pumps, or managed care.
• Ability to travel up to 80% within your territory; valid drivers license, insurance, and good driving record required.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving market.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

The base pay for this position is $101,025 to $123,475 annually, with a target earning potential of $176,025 to $198,475 annually. Base pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may also fluctuate depending on candidates location and the overall job market. In addition to base pay, Tandem offers a competitive compensation package and a robust benefits package.
