HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCEAs a Territory Manager with CK, this individual will be responsible for ensuring customer retention through relationship building while demonstrating a passion to be the best in the industry. This position is responsible for selling our portfolio of industrial and medical gases, welding consumables, capital equipment and dry ice into a variety of different markets including but not limited to Fabrication, Food/Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, and Chemicals.  SUCCESS ESSENTIALS:To be successful in this role, the individual must have a professional demeanor with a positive attitude that focuses on innovation while leading all facets of the sales process from prospecting, preparing, and presenting proposals to contract and pricing negotiations that may be needed to secure new and continue existing business. Driven - Hardworking, Dedicated, Dependable, Desire to be the BestPassionate - Positive Attitude, Appearance, Pride, Love What We DoPeople-Oriented - Honest, Respectful, Trust-Worthy, Integrity Solutions-Focused - Knowledgeable, Creative, Problem-Solvers PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide existing Customer Account Management to include managing customer relationships, customer value creation, wallet share growth, and profit management.Develop New Business by selling our portfolio of product, equipment and services to amenable market, including new-to-market and competitive account prospects using a strong emphasis on basic prospecting (high rate of daily call activity), and expeditious direct marketing follow up.Implement strategies to grow value-add processes and services. Expand sales territory consistent with company goals. Gather and collect data for each assigned account and prospect. Monitor and provide status of A/R on assigned accounts to credit manager. Provide weekly sales and prospect itinerary to Regional Sales DirectorCoordinate pricing and discuss quotes and leads with respective manager.Be comfortable in the role of cold calling or developing new businessConsult with Regional Sales Director regarding pricing issuesTurn in monthly expense reports and mileage in a timely mannerLog call logs in NetSuite daily, or as neededBe able to communicate cross-departmentally to coordinate work between groupsMust be able to sell and sign agreementsAttend Industry-Related Association Meetings (minimum 3 per year)Attend and participate in all required sales meetings.Represent CK in a professional manner in assigned territoryFollow and enforce all safety guidelines and requirements including proper personal protective equipment for employees and visitorAdhere to the CK Core Values through behavior and wordOther duties, as assigned, within the job classification and business QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTSMinimum of High School Diploma or equivalentBachelor's degree preferred3 years of previous sales experience, preferably in the industrial and/or welding professionMust possess a valid driver's license with clean driving record to meet company insurance eligibility requirements Ability to travel in all weather conditions to numerous businesses Excellent communication skills are required Possessing a "Can Do" attitude is requiredMust be comfortable working within a highly competitive market Must have a strong internal motivation Excellent organizational skills Be comfortable in a value-added solution-selling environment Must be willing to be held accountable for performanceAbility to grasp team selling of technical applications Must have good grasp of business concepts (i.e.: gross margin, ROA, ROI, NIBT) Must have strong negotiation skills Ability to work varied hoursProficiency in MS office products REQUIRED SAFETY EQUIPMENTAll proper safety equipment must be worn according to company policies and regulations including safety glasses, safety boots, and ear protection when needed. WHY YOU WILL LOVE WORKING HEREHeadquartered in St. Louis, MO, CK Supply Inc. has been the definitive source for metalworking and gas related technologies for over 75 years.
