Salary Range: realistically up to $250,000.00 Annually

Our Client is a heavy equipment dealership group and one of the Midwest’s leading heavy equipment dealers representing more than twenty-five outstanding manufacturers of construction, municipal, industrial and forestry equipment: expanding across multiple locations across the Midwest. 
 Primary Function of a Territory Manager
Responsible for taking all actions necessary to secure and maintain a market share in the assigned sales territory of Gogebic, Iron, Vilas, Oneida, Forest, Florence, and Marinette counties in Wisconsin through proper planning, adequate territorial coverage, and effective sales presentations. Obtains and maintains an elevated level of understanding of marketing and finance programs. Prepares quotes outlining machine features, benefits, and any available financing programs. Must achieve and maintain excellent product knowledge and sales skills. Establishes and maintains personal relationships with customers.
 Develops assigned territory of Gogebic, Iron, Vilas, Oneida, Forest, Florence, and Marinette County
  • Prepares sales plans, sales reports, expense, and daily call reports
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Work with customers to fully understand needs, wants, concerns, satisfactions and expectations.
  • Listen to the customer to understand all opportunities, unmet needs, and offer solutions. 
  • Provide on-site expertise for demonstrations, machine inspections and technical support.
  • Communicate with management daily on activities, opportunities, issues, and solutions.
  • Attend training, sales meetings, trade shows, participate in professional societies, and other company functions as needed.
  • Contributes to team by meeting goals, communicating effectively, and being a team player.
  • Maintain CRM database for territory. 
  • Perform other job duties as assigned. 
  Qualifications & Skills:
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented person who can work effectively with a variety of people.
  • Ability to multi-task, remain extremely organized, and be able to develop and maintain relationships with current and potential customers.
  • A minimum of one to three years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required. Three to five years of heavy equipment sales experience preferred with verifiable track record
  • Proficient with MS Office, with an emphasis in Excel and Outlook.
  • Valid Driver’s license as extensive driving is required.
  • High School Education required; College degree preferred. 
  • Sales experience in equipment or related field preferred
