Job Title: Territory Sales Engineer – Florida / Southeast
DETAILS:
• Duration: Permanent Direct Hire with Benefits
• Location: Fully Remote – Florida / Southeast Territory
• Salary: $80K–$100K Base Salary
• Commission: 5% Uncapped Sales Commission
• Total Compensation Potential: $150K–$200K+
• Hours: Monday to Friday (Standard Business Hours)
Position Summary and Special Duties:
We are currently seeking a Territory Sales Engineer to support and expand business throughout the Florida and Southeast market.
This is a true hunter-style business development role focused on generating new business, building pipeline, and growing market share within industrial automation, power distribution, and control systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing new customer relationships within manufacturing, automation, power systems, OEMs, system integrators, or industrial markets and will be comfortable driving outbound sales activity and technical solution discussions.
Job Description:
• Identify, target, and develop new customer relationships within the Florida and Southeast territory
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities within industrial automation and power applications
• Execute consistent outbound prospecting through calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and networking
• Conduct technical sales conversations with engineers, operations leaders, plant managers, and key decision-makers
• Position custom-engineered solutions including industrial control panels, renewable energy systems, power distribution solutions, and custom cable assemblies
• Partner with manufacturers and channel partners to drive joint business opportunities
• Utilize HubSpot CRM to manage pipeline activity, forecasting, and customer communication
• Deliver presentations, solution discussions, and technical overviews tailored to customer applications
• Work cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams to support customer requirements and project execution
• Drive territory growth through proactive relationship-building and strategic account development
Qualifications:
• Experience in a hunter-style sales role focused heavily on new business development
• Proven ability to build, manage, and close a sales pipeline
• Strong outbound prospecting experience including calls, email, LinkedIn, and digital outreach
• Exposure to industrial automation, electrical systems, power distribution, manufacturing, or control systems preferred
• Experience selling technical or engineered solutions preferred
• Experience using CRM systems, preferably HubSpot
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing an active territory
