Territory Sales Manager-ArkansasFull Time Springfield, IL, USSalary Range: $80,000.00 To $125,000.00 AnnuallyJob Description: Agriculture Territory Sales Manager-ArkansasThe Agriculture (Ag) Territory Sales Manager will provide agronomic support, maintain and develop customer relationships, and manage sales within the designated area. This position will work with approved distributors in their territory on training, education, product knowledge, and basic day-to-day business objectives. This job requires the ability to direct sell, consult, and work with a variety of customers on various crops and their agronomic needs.The Agriculture (Ag) Territory Sales Manager will report to the Regional Sales Manager. This position will work in the Arkansas area with designated accounts as well as targeted goals to grow the Ag business in that region.Essential FunctionsProvide agronomic support to established customersCalls on regular or prospective customers to maintain current and generate new business objectives.Manage pricing, marketing, and budgets within the designated territory.Continue working with approved distributors and sales representatives to build continuing growth and promotion of all BRANDT product lines with existing and potential new end users.Assist approved distributors through marketing of all sales materials, product events and promotion of the BRANDT brands.Attend, set up and/or initiate group sales events including but not limited to open houses, lunch and learns, state events, regional events, and national eventsPresent BRANDT products and services to new distributors within the assigned territoryBuild, provide and promote necessary programs and information for the end users in the ag industry.Ability to answer questions concerning products, sales, and research informationBuilds and develops long‑term relationships with customers, peers and suppliersProvide problem‑solving skills and the ability to negotiate solutions for customer needs and expectationsAbility to analyze, investigate, and provide resolution to customer complaints or issues that may ariseAbility to prepare and submit reports to manager regarding sales objectives, territory needs and goalsRelationship BuildingLeadershipCustomer FocusAbility to multitaskProficiency in Excel and WordSupervisory ResponsibilityNot applicable to this position.The Agriculture (Ag) Territory Sales Manager will be required to work within their designated territory, predominately at the customer and distributor's locations. This position may require employee to be in an outdoor and/or professional office setting.Classification/Expected Hours of EmploymentThis position is a full‑time position and is exempt from minimum wage and overtime pay requirements under federal and all applicable state or local laws. Days and hours of work are based on the needs of customers and distributors.TravelThis position requires up to 50% to 75% travel within their designated territory depending on where the TSM lives.Required Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in business, agronomy or similar.
