Club Car Territory Manager

The Territory Manager travels throughout the Eastern North Carolina territory and meets with public or private golf course management, other golf related market representatives and the public to sell/lease golf and utility vehicles ensuring Club Car's profit margin remains within the guidelines. The Territory Manager also prepares documentation to assure vehicles are manufactured and delivered according to the sales agreement.

Key accountabilities include demonstrating, promoting, and selling/leasing golf and utility vehicles to golf courses. Supporting the National Account program, developing and presenting proposals designed to meet customer needs and obtain reasonable profit margin. Following up on all sales to ensure orders are processed properly and shipped on time. Maintaining thorough knowledge of Club Car's product line. Obtaining credit, tax, insurance and financial information from the customer; ensuring proper information is provided on all financed purchases; submitting information to Sales Manager/Customer Service for approval and processing. Preparing accurate paperwork to ensure golf and utility vehicles will be manufactured and delivered according to customer specifications. Monitoring credit approval process to ensure that all pertinent information is submitted, and proposed delivery schedule is met; obtaining finance/lease terms and making offer to customer; preparing leasing proposal and submitting to Customer Order Manager for processing. Maintaining current golf course asset information. Surveying golf courses in assigned territory, recording number of golf products, (make and model), owned/leased, how often replaced, who makes purchasing decisions and estimates trade value of existing fleet. Working with Technical Representatives in the assigned territory to ensure customers are satisfied with the product after the sale and to coordinate specific assignments with dealers. Following up after new car delivery to ensure customer satisfaction. Initiating appropriate paperwork to reconcile differences in shipment. Developing and implementing short and long-term strategy to promote and sell products within designated territory. Assessing pricing and distribution and making recommendations for change accordingly.

Required: 2+ years of sales experience required. Proficient in the use of Excel and CRM systems, preferably Salesforce. Ability to travel 25 - 50%. Bachelor's Degree required. Valid driver's license. Preferred: Proficient in Salesforce. Golf car experience. Strong business acumen in the Golf industry preferred. Seeking candidates eligible for employment in local country/region.
