Territory Sales Manager | Acute Care Hospital Sales


Location: St. Louis, MO


We are partnering with an industry-leading medical device manufacturer to identify a high-performing Territory Sales Manager for one of the strongest territories in the country. This is an established, high-performing territory with a long history of success and tremendous growth potential.


The ideal candidate will be equally skilled at maintaining existing relationships while continuing to expand business through strategic account development.


Territory

  • Candidates must live in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
  • Territory also includes Springfield, MO, portions of Southern Illinois, and extends west toward Joplin, MO.
  • Approximately 30% travel with occasional overnight stays during hospital conversions and customer meetings.


What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, health systems, clinicians, materials management, and value analysis committees.
  • Manage an established book of business while identifying opportunities for continued growth.
  • Drive product adoption and hospital and home health conversions through consultative selling.
  • Navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Work closely with clinical teams to support product implementation and customer success.
  • Consistently achieve sales objectives across multiple performance metrics.


What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience selling into acute care hospitals.
  • Experience navigating hospital purchasing processes, including Value Analysis Committees and Materials Management.
  • Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to influence both clinical and administrative decision makers.
  • Proven success managing long sales cycles and complex accounts.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to balance account management with proactive business development.


Compensation

  • Base Salary: $85,000 to $90,000
  • Target Incentive: Approximately $65,000
  • Total On-Target Earnings: $150,000 to $155,000This territory has a long history of strong performance and consistently achieves plan.
