Our client is looking for a motivated Territory Sales Representative to join their team. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on growing equipment sales, developing new business, and building strong, long-term relationships with customers throughout an assigned territory.
The right person will be comfortable working independently in the field, meeting with customers, identifying their equipment needs, and finding the right solutions for their job sites. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys sales, building relationships, and being out in the field with customers.
What You'll Do
Develop new business and build relationships with customers throughout your assigned territory
Prospect for new customers and follow up with leads and existing accounts
Visit customer job sites and meet with customers to understand their equipment needs
Present equipment features, benefits, and solutions based on specific job site requirements
Prepare quotes and proposals and negotiate pricing within established guidelines
Coordinate equipment demonstrations and deliveries with internal teams
Track leads, opportunities, and customer activity through a CRM system
Work toward and meet established sales goals
Stay connected with customers after the sale and work with the service and parts teams to help ensure a positive customer experience
Monitor the local market and identify new sales opportunities
Attend local industry events and represent the company within the community
Maintain consistent communication and reporting on territory activity and sales performance

What We're Looking For
Sales experience with a strong background in territory management and customer relationship building
B2B or equipment sales experience is strongly preferred
Experience prospecting, managing a sales pipeline, and working with CRM systems
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to explain equipment features and benefits in a clear, practical way
Basic understanding of construction or heavy equipment and how it is used on job sites
Mechanical aptitude is a plus
Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, presentations, CRM systems, and mobile technology
Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently
Strong team player who can work closely with sales, service, and parts teams
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience in equipment dealerships, construction, agriculture, or a related industry is a plus
A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus
