Role Description The Territory Sales Representative is a full-time hybrid role based in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area, with a blend of on-site territory work and some work-from-home flexibility. This position is responsible for generating new business, managing existing accounts, and promoting PIRTEK’s hose replacement and related services to industrial customers. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and cold calling, scheduling and conducting in-person sales visits, presenting service solutions, preparing proposals, and following up to close sales. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in a CRM system, monitoring market trends, and collaborating with service and operations teams to ensure customers receive timely, high-quality support. Regular travel within the assigned territory is expected to build relationships, support client needs, and drive revenue growth.

• Strong sales and business development skills, including prospecting, cold calling, negotiation, and closing.

• Customer relationship management abilities, with experience using CRM tools and maintaining organized account records.

• Knowledge or interest in industrial, mechanical, or technical environments; ability to understand basic hydraulic or industrial equipment concepts.

• Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain service offerings clearly to diverse stakeholders.

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented work style, with strong time management and territory planning capabilities.

• Comfort working in a hybrid model, including field visits across the Portland, Oregon area and some remote administrative work.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory.

• Prior experience in outside sales, industrial sales, or B2B service sales preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
