Brief Job Overview/Summary
The GOALS GEAR UP Program at Stockton University seeks an instructor for Summer Academy to provide academic enrichment to students in grades 6 through 11 from the Atlantic City and Pleasantville Public School District. The GOALS Summer Academy runs Monday through Thursday from 8:30am - 3:30pm, June 29th until August 7th. Please note that on most Thursday's, the program will be going on academic trips. This rigorous six-week program is designed to help students develop reading, writing, mathematics, science, and technology by participating in college and career readiness activities. The instructor will deliver academic enrichment lessons in core content areas, integrate social-emotional learning, and facilitate interactive workshops aligned with GEAR UP program goals.
The GOALS program is designed to provide college access by preparing scholars academically, financially, and emotionally for post-secondary education opportunities. This role is ideal for educators passionate about equity, access, and preparing students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds for postsecondary success.
