Overview:

The Office of International Programs is seeking a candidate to provide administrative support aide for the insurance coordinator with current and incoming international students &scholars in need of student health insurance. Applicants should be able to work well under pressure during peak times, possess strong attention to detail and be able to prioritize incoming workload. A strong applicant will be familiar with various computer applications including Excel, email and databases.

Responsibilities:
  • Review weekly enrollment lists
  • Intake of waiver requests from students
  • Manage graduate student enrollment requests
  • Assist in auditing enrollments against insurance invoice
  • Answer the phone, screen calls and take messages
  • Receive payments for insurance and provide receipts
  • May assist in journal entries
  • Assist coordinator with incoming student orientation sessions
  • Update insurance Smartsheet
  • Assist coordinator with other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year of relatable work experience.

 

Preferred:

  • Experience in SmartSheet
  • Insurance experience
Pay Range: USD $20.00 - USD $22.00 /Hr.
