Education Requirements:- Bachelor's in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Agricultural EngineeringRequired Skills for the Test and Validation Engineer:- 0-2 years of experience- Strong mechanical and analytical aptitude- Strong problem solving skills- Ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members, system engineering teams, and suppliers- Proficiency in Creo or related CAD softwareDesired Skills:- Previous test/validation experience- Experience with data analysis software- Experience with instrumentation/controller software- Working experience with metallic and non-metallic materials or componentsTest and Validation Engineer Overview:- The Test and Validation Engineer will work on metal face seals used on machines. The candidate will be a member of the team responsible for Company world-wide validation of metal face seals. As a Test & Validation Engineer in this team you will serve as an individual contributor on projects and assignments that support and enhance product performance, durability, reliability, quality, and serviceability.Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain multiple seal validation test benches- Author and update safe job & lock out tag out procedures for seal test equipment- Manage internal/external validation test requests and support quality/material/design improvement projects- Perform/Apply root cause analysis on field returns- Support NPI (New Product Introduction) and CPI (Current Product Improvement) projects- Collaborate with system engineering teams, internal and external, to identify/validate optimum sealing system solutions- Create and deliver technical reports- Research and develop new sealing technologies **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.** **Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client’s business needs and requirements.** Benefits: For information and details on employment benefits offered with this position, please visit here.
