MUST:
Eligible for Federal Public Trust
12+ years of experience in QA Automation engineering and architecture
6+ years of experience working as a Test Automation Architect
Deep knowledge of Selenium as well as other UI Automation frameworks
Hands on experience building custom Selenium automation framework from scratch for applications (Salesforce, Appian ServiceNow)
Experience using production RESTful interfaces.
Experience with Section 508 testing
Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
Client facing and ability to run meetings and lead other members of the team
High attention to detail
Ability to multitask
Self-starter
BA/BS Degree preferred

DUTIES:
Ideal candidate will help lead the design, implementation and oversee all aspects of the automation process for our Federal client
Work with the client leadership team to help clearly identify the vision, architecture leadership and technical expertise to enable automation. Testing and operation workflows for all software production teams
Lead a team of test automation engineers, lead the test automation strategy, manage the automation framework, perform/oversee level of effort estimates, test plans, test case scripting, peer reviews, and test summary reports to ensure a successfully tested releases
Build a Selenium automation framework from scratch for client s Appian applications
Help ensure current and future automation initiatives are reliable, efficient and scalable
Evaluating industry standard test tools and making recommendations based on industry best practices
Establish test strategies to ensure features meet acceptance criteria
Creating and executing manual and automated test cases to ensure functional coverage for assigned features
Gathering and validating application functional, performance, and load requirements
Identifying and logging defects with clear reproduction steps and validating fixes
Working closely with developers and Requirements Analyst peers to clarify requirements and improve test coverage
Participating in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and retrospectives, to provide insights from a testing perspective
Managing test data, including the creation of data via API calls for testing
Creating test reports and maintaining all test documentation
