Opportunity Overview





The Datacenter & Client Business Unit is Teradyne's fastest-growing market, supporting the testing of high-performance compute, AI accelerator, networking, and advanced semiconductor devices that power the world's largest infrastructure deployments. As a Test Cell Product Strategy Manager, you will define and drive the strategy for production test cell solutions that enable our customers' most demanding applications.





This highly visible individual contributor role will serve as the bridge between customer requirements, industry trends, and Teradyne's product roadmap. Working across engineering, applications, product management, sales, marketing, operations, and external ecosystem partners, you will help ensure Teradyne maintains leadership in delivering innovative test cell solutions.





Key Responsibilities:






+ Lead the multi-year test cell product strategy for the Datacenter & Client Business Unit, including thermal, power delivery, signal integrity, docking, manipulation, and interface hardware capabilities.


+ Translate customer production requirements and semiconductor market trends into product requirements and roadmap priorities.


+ Partner with engineering and applications teams to ensure test cell solutions are available ahead of customer production ramps through internal development and strategic partnerships.


+ Drive go-to-market activities for test cell product launches, including positioning, field enablement, launch readiness, and adoption tracking.


+ Monitor competitive landscapes and industry developments to strengthen Teradyne's market differentiation and value proposition.


+ Develop and maintain technical collateral, presentations, proof points, and sales enablement materials supporting customer engagement and field success.


+ Represent Teradyne at industry conferences, customer technology reviews, standards organizations, and executive briefings.


+ Act as the primary business unit contact for field-driven test cell requirements, evaluating opportunities for scalable productization and operational deployment.


+ Collaborate with ecosystem partners supplying handlers, probers, manipulators, sockets, probe cards, thermal systems, and related test cell technologies.


+ Support strategic customer design-in opportunities and joint development programs alongside sales and business development teams.

+ BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.


+ 10+ years of experience spanning product management, product marketing, applications engineering, design engineering, semiconductor test, or related manufacturing equipment industries.


+ Strong knowledge of automated test equipment (ATE) test cells, including handlers, probers, manipulators, device interface hardware, sockets, probe cards, thermal management, and production test methodologies.


+ Demonstrated ability to define strategy while simultaneously driving execution and operational results.


+ Strong analytical, technical, and business acumen with the ability to translate emerging technologies into customer value and business outcomes.


+ Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across engineering, operations, sales, marketing, and external partners.


+ Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and executive leadership.


+ Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.


+ Willingness to travel approximately 20-30%, including international travel.

Compensation





The base salary range for this role is $163,100 - $260,900. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.





Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
