Role Purpose
We are seeking Level II Technicians to perform NDT inspections with a primary emphasis on Level II
Radiography (RT). Ideal candidates are experienced X-ray truck operators with additional Level II
certifications, including MT (Magnetic Particle
Inspection), PT (Penetrant Testing), and UTT (Ultrasonic Thickness Testing), in accordance with
industry standards and customer requirements.
Primary Candidate Focus
• Level II RT-certified technicians
• X-ray truck experience in oil & gas, pipelines, facilities, and fabrication
• Additional Level II certifications: MT, PT, UTT
Key Responsibilities
• Perform RT inspections using X-ray equipment
• Conduct MT, PT, and UTT inspections as certified
• Interpret results per ASME, API, AWS standards
• Prepare accurate inspection reports
• Operate inspection vehicles and equipment safely
• Comply with radiation safety and company procedures
• Travel to regional and national job sites
Required Qualifications
• ASNT Level II RT certification
• Active State Card and/or IRRSP
• One or more additional Level II certs (MT, PT, UTT)
• Industrial field inspection experience
• Flexibility to travel and work extended hours
Preferred / Enhancements
• Computed or Digital Radiography (CR/DR)
• Ultrasonic Phased Array (PAUT)
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Welder Testing experience
Qualifications
Required
• Level II certification in RT, MT, PT, and/or UT.
• Current State Carded or IRRSP certification.
• Strong knowledge of applicable codes and industry standards.
• Ability to work in field conditions and travel extensively.
Preferred
• Experience with advanced NDT methods (e.g., PAUT, DR).
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
