Test Debug and RCA Engineer

Job Summary

Test Debug and RCA Engineer is responsible for testing, validating, troubleshooting, and certifying compute and networking racks during manufacturing and production. This role ensures that assembled racks meet quality, performance, reliability, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support server and networking rack testing and system performance validation with strong domain knowledge.
• Diagnose and conduct root cause analysis to resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues using diagnostic tools.
• Test high-speed Ethernet and InfiniBand fabrics. Validate switch configurations and network connectivity.
• Troubleshoot packet loss, latency, bandwidth, and routing issues.
• Develop, implement and maintain test procedure, automation script, test process instructions (TPI) and production operator training.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams. Support engineering validation activities
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of computer hardware assembly and troubleshooting
• Understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, VANs,Routing and Switching, DNS and DHCP
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows Server environments
• Ability to use test equipment such as: Multimeters, Cable testers, Network analyzers, Oscilloscopes
• Knowledge of manufacturing and quality control processes
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience in data center infrastructure or rack integration
• Understanding of rack-level power and thermal management

Education

Bachelor's Degree or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology Networking Engineering major related field
