Test & Development Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3 to 5 years of test engineering, product development, or hardware engineering experience
• Experience with mechanical testing, electromechanical systems, and prototype development
• Knowledge of verification, validation, qualification, and acceptance testing
• Experience with SolidWorks, test fixtures, jigs, tooling, and mechanical design
• Knowledge of Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, DAQ systems
• Experience working under ISO 9001 or other regulated quality systems
• Experience with root cause analysis and failure investigations

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute verification, qualification, and production test plans for mechanical and electromechanical hardware
• Design and build test fixtures, tooling, and support equipment for product development and validation
• Perform root cause analysis, failure investigations, and design verification to improve product reliability
• Support prototype builds, early production, manufacturing, and quality assurance activities
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing teams throughout product development
