This Test Engineer position is responsible for developing, executing, and supporting critical test programs for advanced aerospace hardware and propulsion systems. The role combines hands-on testing, data collection, troubleshooting, and technical documentation in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Description

The Test Engineer will be responsible for supporting the planning, development, and execution of test programs for complex aerospace hardware. This individual will work closely with engineering teams to ensure products meet performance, reliability, and quality requirements through rigorous testing, data analysis, and documentation activities.

  • Develop test plans, procedures, and verification activities for new and existing products.
  • Execute environmental, vacuum, and research-based testing while collecting and analyzing performance data.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts and prepare detailed technical reports documenting test outcomes.
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment, fixtures, and laboratory infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to identify and implement product improvements.

Profile

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in hardware testing within aerospace, defense, or another high-reliability engineering environment. They will have a strong understanding of test methodologies, laboratory equipment, and technical documentation, along with the ability to thrive in a hands-on engineering setting.

  • 8+ years of experience in a test engineering, validation, or product verification role.
  • Experience with environmental testing, qualification testing, and standard laboratory instrumentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience creating technical procedures and reports.
  • Exposure to vacuum chambers, automated test systems, or aerospace testing environments is highly desirable.
  • Experience using tools such as Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, AutoCAD, or similar engineering software.
