Job Description

The Test Engineer P&C 1 position requires a well-rounded professional with 0-3 years of related experience and an accredited bachelor"s degree in engineering. This role involves developing and executing detailed test plans for Protection & Control (P&C) systems to ensure their performance, safety, and reliability meet specified requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute detailed test plans for P&C systems.
  • Implement and manage testing procedures, tools, and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with design engineers, developers, and product managers.
  • Analyze test data to identify deviations, anomalies, or issues.
  • Provide detailed reports and feedback to stakeholders.
  • Recommend modifications, enhancements, and updates to P&C systems.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance protocols.
  • Create comprehensive documentation of test protocols and results.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and diagnostic activities.
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and apparatus.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the refinement of testing methodologies.
  • Stay updated with technological advancements and industry trends.
  • Build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff, and vendors.

Essential Skills

  • 0-3 years of related experience in test engineering.
  • Accredited bachelor"s degree in engineering.
  • Proficiency in using test equipment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and test engineering principles.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in developing and executing test plans for P&C systems.
  • Ability to analyze test data and provide actionable feedback.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and quality assurance protocols.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $33.00/hr.
