Description

An innovative aerospace company is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to lead the planning, execution, and documentation of critical testing activities for advanced spacecraft systems. Description

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including verification and validation activities.
  • Create detailed test procedures for a variety of hardware and system-level testing programs.
  • Support environmental, vacuum, research, and development testing activities.
  • Operate test equipment and collect, analyze, and document test data.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and support investigation of hardware and system performance.
  • Maintain and support test stations, including calibration, setup, procurement, and upkeep of equipment.
  • Produce technical documentation, test reports, quality records, and failure analyses.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure testing activities are delivered accurately and on schedule.

Profile

  • 8+ years of experience in a similar testing or validation role.
  • Experience using laboratory instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, signal generators, and temperature measurement equipment.
  • Background in qualification, acceptance, and environmental testing of hardware products.
  • Proven ability to develop test procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Experience handling ESD-sensitive hardware and working within controlled environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred experience includes:
  • Aerospace environmental testing and vacuum systems.
  • Testing in harsh environments involving vibration, radiation, thermal, humidity, or shock conditions.
  • High-voltage equipment, automated test systems, and data acquisition platforms.
  • Familiarity with tools such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Altium.
