Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Test Engineer to support product testing and validation activities in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will execute functional, performance, and reliability testing, document test results, assist with product validation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Understand product requirements, test specifications, and project documentation.
Prepare test cases, test checklists, and test plans under the guidance of senior engineers.
Execute functional, performance, reliability, and verification tests according to approved procedures.
Accurately record test results and report defects, deviations, or failures with supporting evidence.
Assist in product validation, verification, and design testing activities.
Support defect tracking and collaborate with engineering teams to investigate test failures.
Maintain test equipment, tools, and test samples in proper working condition.
Follow quality, safety, and compliance procedures throughout all testing activities.
Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to clarify technical issues.
Prepare test reports, daily status updates, and technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.
Experience in product testing, quality assurance, validation, or manufacturing testing is preferred.
Understanding of functional, performance, and reliability testing methodologies.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, product specifications, and technical documentation.
Familiarity with defect tracking and test documentation processes.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic technical reporting.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing processes is a plus.
