Job Description
We are seeking a Database Testing Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL-based backend validation, large-scale data migration testing, and AI-driven test automation and a proven ability to design and execute data validation strategies, reconcile large datasets across systems, and ensure accurate end-to-end data flows.
Responsibilities:
- Lead testing for data transformation and migration across enterprise Network Operation platforms handling millions of records.
- Design and execute strategies to validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity during migrations.
- Develop complex SQL queries and automated scripts to reconcile source and target systems at scale, including file-to-file validation.
- Validate ETL/ELT processes, transformation rules, data mappings, and business logic across multiple domains.
- Perform end-to-end testing of batch, real-time, and incremental migration workflows, including volume and large data set validation.
- Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues, migration defects, duplicates, missing records, and transformation anomalies.
- Collaborate with data engineers, architects, business analysts, and application teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Generate data quality metrics, reconciliation reports, and migration readiness assessments for stakeholders.
- Drive best practices in database testing, automation, and data quality engineering for enterprise migrations.
- Partner with AI agent onboarding partners to define and execute onboarding for UA agents and establish an automation-first testing strategy.
- Review architecture diagrams and solution objectives to understand end-to-end agent workflows and testing requirements.
- Identify opportunities for AI-driven test automation to improve coverage, efficiency, and workflow validation.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, AI partners, and QA to embed database automation and AI agents into the lifecycle.
- Define test scenarios for AI-agent-based workflows covering functional, integration, data, and end-to-end validation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Database Testing using SQL, including joins, aggregations, and subqueries.
- Experience with AI-driven test automation and scripting for data validation.
- File-to-file data validation and backend reconciliation across systems and databases.
- Volume testing and large data set validation for batch and real-time pipelines.
- Ability to validate data pipelines, transformations, and end-to-end data flow from AWS sources to downstream systems, including PNR creation on PID data.
- Strong understanding of data integrity, accuracy, and consistency checks with defect analysis.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with enterprise data migration programs and ETL/ELT validation best practices.
- Familiarity with AWS-based data sources and validation patterns.
