Test Engineer

Our client, a leader in autonomous mobility, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Test Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Test Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing, optimizing, and maintaining testing software that is vital for the success of the Lidar Team. Job Title: Test Engineer

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $90-$95/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable testing software for hardware testing and data analysis.
• Create robust tools and scripts to support hardware testing processes.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Analyze large datasets to improve hardware performance and data accuracy.
• Document testing procedures and software development processes clearly and thoroughly.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of experience in software or computer engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python.
• Experience with software development for hardware control and mass data processing.
• Strong understanding of communication protocols such as TCP, UDP, and HTTP.
• Experience in developing software tools, packet decoders, and PCAP parsers.
