Description
Position Summary: We are looking for a driven and hands-on Test Engineer to join our AI Infrastructure and Server Testing team. You will be responsible for validating the performance, thermal integrity, and reliability of our next-generation AI servers. Working closely with hardware and system architecture teams, you will develop test scripts, execute rigorous hardware evaluations, and analyze data to ensure our servers can handle extreme deep learning and generative AI workloads.
Key Responsibility:
est Execution: Execute system, thermal, and performance test suites on AI server platforms.
Scripting & Automation: Write and modify Python/Bash scripts to automate test cases and log system telemetry.
Data Analysis: Gather, process, and analyze diagnostic test data using tools to pinpoint bottlenecks or hardware failures.
Hardware Debugging: Assist in initial board bring-up, fault isolation, and component-level debugging.
Reporting: Document test results, track hardware anomalies, and generate bug reports using standard ticketing systems (e.g., Jira). [1, 2]
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience: 0 to 3 years of hands-on experience in hardware testing, server validation, or systems engineering (internships count!).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Python, Bash, or C++.
Fundamental understanding of server architecture, PCIe, and networking protocols (Ethernet, InfiniBand).
Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces.
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic familiarity with AI accelerators, GPUs, or OCP (Open Compute Project) hardware.
Experience with performance profiling and benchmarking tools.
