The role demands a highly qualified professional with 7-10 years of specialized experience who can lead complex test programs, develop comprehensive test strategies, and collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams.

This position is ideal for an experienced test engineer who combines deep technical knowledge of RF systems with strong analytical capabilities and proven program management skills. Signal processing capability is a plus.

    Required Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related scientific/engineering field.
    • Experience in supporting test programs, timelines, and deliverables, and experience working with multi-disciplinary engineering teams
    • Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in RF/Phased Array/SDR test engineering
    • Working knowledge of RF systems, propagation, modulation, frequency planning, link budget analysis, and digital signal processing
    • Systematic troubleshooting of complex RF and digital system issues
    • Experience in phased arrays, including beamforming, beam steering, and array calibration
    • Ability to create comprehensive test strategies, test automation frameworks, procedures, documentation, scripting (Python, C++, etc.)
    • Proficiency with spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes
    • Testing for EVM, ACPR, phase noise, spurious emissions, and other key parameters
    • Experience with far-field and near-field antenna pattern measurements
    • Proficiency in analyzing large test datasets and extracting meaningful insights using MATLAB or similar tools
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills including collaborating with other on-site and/or remote technical team members, preparing and sharing technical results with others, and documenting work to aid other team members and activities
    • Ability to work effectively with RF engineers, software developers, systems engineers, and program managers

    Desired skills

    • Familiarity with FCC, NTIA, ITU, or military standards (MIL-STD) as applicable
    • Understanding of phase-coherent multi-channel systems and precision timing requirements
    • Experience integrating SDR hardware with phased array antennas and RF front-ends
    • FPGA knowledge of hardware acceleration for signal processing tasks
    • Familiarity with real-time operating systems and embedded software development

    Location:

Position requires on site laboratory activities each week - including classified discussions, hardware development, test, debug. Candidate should expect to be onsite 4 days/week with one day remote initially.

    Clearance:

Interim clearance is sufficient for the start of this assignment, however ACTIVE SECRET is HIGHLY preferred.
