Test Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• 9+ years of hands-on experience in a Quality Assurance environment validating electromechanical products
• Experience creating DFMEA documentation and verification and validation (IOVV) test plans
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, IECEx, and ATEX electrical safety standards
• Hands-on verification and validation experience with hardware, firmware, and software for electromechanical systems
• Experience with test bench maintenance, real-time simulation, and execution of test cases.
• Knowledge of Cpk and SPC data analysis.
• Proficiency with CAD and simulation tools such as SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Own quality assurance activities for all phases of product development including hardware, firmware, and software.
• Develop and maintain verification and validation test plans to ensure performance, reliability, and safety.
• Build, test, and evaluate prototypes to validate product requirements and support design debugging.
• Create and update QA documentation, specifications, and analyses, ensuring full traceability and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in design reviews, and support manufacturing ramp-up and quality issue resolution.
