Test Engineer
Location: Raymond, Ohio
Employment Type: Full-Time Contract
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Test Engineer L2 with 5+ years of test engineering experience in automotive systems, ECU development, and vehicle-level validation.
Responsibilities- Develop test plans, procedures, specifications, and schedules for automotive components and systems.
- Support Automotive ECU development and integration.
- Perform CAN and Automotive Ethernet network analysis.
- Support ADAS system development, testing, and validation.
- Prepare and configure test equipment and execute moderately complex tests.
- Analyze test results, identify failures, determine root causes, and develop countermeasures.
- Perform vehicle-level troubleshooting and communicate findings through technical reports and presentations.
- Support diagnostic communications and fault management.
- Review requirements and specifications and recommend design improvements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of relevant test engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- 6 years of related experience may substitute for the required degree.
- Automotive ECU development/integration experience.
- CAN / Automotive Ethernet experience.
- ADAS development and validation experience.
- Vehicle-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Experience with Vector CANoe or related automotive tools.
- Test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills.
