About the Role 

The Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe and timely execution of all testing.  This includes conducting high-pressure tests on various components, equipment, and systems to ensure they meet safety, quality, and performance standards.  This role requires a strong understanding of high-pressure testing procedures, equipment operation, and adherence to safety protocols. The engineer will work closely with R&D and quality control teams to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards. 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Define preventive maintenance plans and perform routine maintenance and calibration of testing equipment 

• Manage the definition/installation of new test equipment and upgrades to existing test equipment 

• Inspect and verify the integrity of components before and after testing 

• Responsible for the definition and maintenance of testing procedures 

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of tests performed, including pressure levels, duration, and results 

• Identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during testing processes 

• Stay up to date with industry regulations, codes, and standards related to high-pressure and Hydrogen testing 

• Establish and promote adherence safety protocols for use in the testing area 

About You

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent 

• Proven experience in high-pressure testing or a related field  

• Familiarity with high-pressure testing equipment and systems 

• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures 

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications 

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills 

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping 

• Effective communication skills 

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds) 

• Comfortable working in confined spaces if required 

• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
