Your mission

Safeguard product quality and production flow by building reliable, scalable test solutions—then keep them running flawlessly. You’ll serve as the technical backbone for manufacturing test, from bringing in new platforms to standardizing equipment and eliminating failure modes.

Key outcomes

  • Rapid recovery: Production test failures are diagnosed and resolved quickly with durable corrective actions.
  • Flawless introductions: New test platforms transition into manufacturing smoothly, with complete documentation, training, and validation.
  • Robust coverage: Test methods effectively validate parts, sub-assemblies, and final products.
  • Consistency: Standardized test equipment and processes reduce variation and improve throughput.
  • Efficiency: Accurate cost and labor estimates guide projects, while targeted cost-reduction initiatives improve margins.
  • Compliance and clarity: Test procedures are implemented, maintained, and continuously improved.
  • Safety and integrity: Test environments remain efficient, safe, and secure; work products are precise and reliable.

How you’ll collaborate and decide

  • Interfaces: Work closely with company leadership, purchasing, manufacturing teams, external contract manufacturers, suppliers, and customers.
  • Decision latitude: With minimal supervision, operate independently and within teams to craft approaches and make technical test decisions.
  • Business impact: Contribute across multiple complex, critical projects with a premium on timely implementation.

Capabilities and experience

  • BSEE or equivalent and 3–5 years as a Test Engineer in the electronic assembly domain.
  • Strong command of test equipment, applications, and manufacturing test technologies.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency.
  • Advanced problem framing and problem-solving for complex systems.
  • IPC certification; clear, persuasive communication and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable and self-driven; effective with minimal oversight.
