The Engineering Test Technician will support product development activities through laboratory testing, data collection, and documentation. This position performs routine and non‑routine testing on prototypes and developmental products, operates laboratory and automated equipment, and assists engineering teams with product evaluation and validation activities. The role requires strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and adherence to established quality and documentation requirements.Education / Experience Requirements Two‑year Technical Degree (AA, AS, Certificate) and/or equivalent experience.2+ years of technical work experience preferred.Experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, engineering, or regulated environment preferred.Medical device industry experience is a plus.Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is preferred.Required Qualifications Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn complex systems quickly.Hands‑on experience operating laboratory equipment, automated equipment, or robotic systems.Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate documentation.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Execute routine and non‑routine laboratory testing activities requiring fine motor skills, accurate hand‑eye coordination, and careful handling of components and equipment.Test prototypes and developmental products according to engineering instructions and approved procedures.Document test results accurately and maintain complete records in electronic systems.Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to plan, execute, and document testing activities.Develop proficiency with electronic test management and documentation systems.Communicate testing progress, status updates, and issues to project engineers and team members.Assist in troubleshooting testing issues and support investigation activities as needed.Train team members on new products, testing methods, processes, and procedures.Ensure products are tested according to the latest approved methods, specifications, and requirements.Maintain compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), quality systems, and applicable documentation requirements.Support continuous improvement initiatives and laboratory operations as assigned.Physical Requirements Ability to perform hands‑on laboratory and testing activities.Ability to handle small components and operate testing equipment requiring manual dexterity.Ability to stand, sit, and move throughout laboratory and testing environments for extended periods.Ability to lift and move equipment and materials consistent with laboratory operations.Success Factors Demonstrates strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.Learns products, testing methods, and systems quickly.Works effectively with engineers and cross‑functional teams.Consistently follows procedures and quality requirements.Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and problem‑solving ability.#J-18808-Ljbffr
