Purpose of the positionFoxconn Technology Group, a global leader in electronics manufacturing, seeks a Test Inventory Control Engineer to drive strategic inventory optimization and ensure seamless test supply chain operations. Once a part of the team you will have opportunity to lead end-to-end test inventory management through real-time stock monitoring, data-driven demand forecasting, and procurement execution; oversee inbound/outbound workflows, quality issue resolution, and supplier collaboration to optimize supply chain agility.
Duties and Responsibilities 1. Monitor real-time test inventory levels to ensure stock accuracy and prevent shortages;
2. Resolve urgent component shortages by prioritizing critical testing needs with warehouse teams;
3. Track procurement timelines and engage suppliers proactively to eliminate delivery delays;
4. Lead root-cause analysis for defective components and drive corrective actions to reduce recurrence;
5. Optimize demand forecasting models to reflect real-world consumption patterns for better inventory planning;
6. Conduct monthly inventory audits to identify obsolete stock and implement strategic clearance plans.
7.Adhere to company policies and Standard Operating Procedures in all operational workflows.
Education and work experience- Successful completion of 4-years of high school, or equivalent, plus completion of 4 years of college with a bachelor’s degree, plus attainment of a master’s degree. Degree required: Electronic information engineering
- Preference for candidates with 1-3 years of test inventory management experience.
