Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Supports satellite bus architecture, integration, and verification activities.

• Provides electrical subsystem engineering support, including performance analysis and issue resolution.

• Assists with interface definition and compatibility assessments between various subsystems.

• Supports system-level troubleshooting, anomaly resolution, and test readiness.

• Ensures compliance with program requirements, mission performance objectives, and customer expectations.

• Conducts verification, test, and data analysis for satellite bus and subsystems.

• Performs testing and troubleshooting of electronic equipment in a test laboratory environment.

• Uses test instrumentation and methods for system-level verification and validation.

• Operates and calibrates bench and lab test equipment including measurement and power devices.

• Applies knowledge of electrical systems and RF subsystems for satellite integration and test.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification. Experience with test instrumentation and methods for electronic systems.

• Experience working in a test laboratory environment.

• Experience testing and troubleshooting electronic equipment.

• Experience conducting verification, test, and data analysis activities.

• Preferred: 3 or more years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Preferred: Experience with Space systems including satellites.

• Preferred: Experience with electrical systems, RF subsystems, and operating or calibrating bench and lab test equipment.
