Test Lab Equipment Operator I

Location: Sunnyvale, CA 100% Onsite

Introduction

The team is seeking dedicated individuals to operate test line equipment for the semi-automated testing of consumer electronics. This role is essential to maintaining high-quality standards and supporting the engineering and planning teams in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Quick learner with the ability to follow complex instructions and procedures.
• Familiarity with computers and data entry, with proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Filemaker experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and technical environment.
• Two-year tech degree or higher.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality output.
• Good attitude and willingness to contribute to process improvement.
• Ability to record results of testing according to procedures.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with setting up and qualifying test stations.
• Experience in organizing lab spaces and maintaining equipment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Run tests using complex semi-automated test equipment, ensuring focus and consistency during repetitions.
• Input, update, and maintain records related to the movement of units and maintenance of fixtures.
• Assist engineering teams in setting up and qualifying test stations by following directions and performing initial testing for qualification.
• Assist the planning team in organizing lab spaces and keeping equipment up to date.
• Document procedures as required.
