Position Overview

A growing electronics manufacturing organization is seeking a Test Operator to support production and testing operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires hands-on experience with electronic testing, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently while following quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Connect electronic units to test equipment and perform software-based testing.
• Assemble cable harnesses and support various electronic testing functions.
• Operate testing equipment such as flying probe, ICT, and related systems as needed.
• Read and utilize multimeters for diagnostic and testing purposes.
• Review work for accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Follow ESD, ISO, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
• Utilize computers to access mechanical drawings, work instructions, and testing documentation.
• Support additional production departments and projects as needed.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards while working under moderate supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of electronics test operator experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand a multimeter.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and technical documentation.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, and use of both hands.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 30 lbs occasionally.

Schedule

• October through May: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• June through September: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:45 PM
• Overtime may be required, including early starts, late shifts, and occasional weekends.

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must be eligible to work on ITAR-regulated projects and therefore must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
