Test Operator LEAD

Test Operator Lead (Temp-to-Hire) | Camarillo, CA

We are seeking an experienced Test Operator Lead to join our manufacturing team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is a working lead position, where the selected candidate will spend the majority of their time performing production testing while also providing leadership and support to a small team.

Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• Afternoon/Evening Shift: 1:30 PM to 10:15 PM
• Initial training will be completed during the day shift
• Overtime may be required, including early starts, late stays, and occasional weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Connect products to electronic test equipment and perform software testing
• Assemble cable harnesses and support testing operations
• Operate test equipment including flying probe and ICT equipment as needed
• Lead, train, and direct team members
• Assign work and monitor productivity
• Participate in meetings with management regarding department performance
• Establish performance expectations and support employee development
• Prioritize testing activities to meet production schedules
• Ensure defects and issues are resolved in a timely manner
• Follow all quality, safety, ESD, and ISO procedures
• Verify work meets specifications and quality standards
• Assist in other production departments as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of electronics test operator experience in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum 1 year of leadership, lead, or supervisory experience
• Ability to read and use a multimeter
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, and specifications
• Strong communication skills in English

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing and walking
• Regular use of both hands
• Lift and carry up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 30 lbs occasionally

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Compensation

• $23.00 - $27.00 per hour, depending on experience
