Senior Test Equipment Design Engineer
Clearance Required: Active Secret (must be in place prior to start; interim not accepted) Work Schedule: 9/80 Location: Onsite Level: Senior (Level 2) Education: Bachelor's degree in STEM required
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Test Equipment Design Engineer with extensive experience developing and integrating test systems that support hardware and software verification in production, manufacturing, and qualification environments. This role supports the full lifecycle of test equipment-from concept and design through integration, verification, validation, and sustainment.
The ideal candidate has strong technical depth in test architectures, hands-on experience with automated and custom test solutions, and a proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) Minimum 10+ years of relevant engineering experience OR 8+ years with an advanced degree
Experience with Test Systems Engineering, including:
• Hardware test development • Test-software development • Integration • Verification & validation • Test-system maintenance • Support in production, manufacturing, and product-qualification settings • Hands-on experience with test equipment design, development, and/or integration
Active Secret security clearance required prior to start (interim not accepted)
