The Test Tank Operator is responsible for lowering coolers into the test tank and pressurizing them to check for any air bubbles or leaks. This position works with all coolers, ensuring quality and functionality through the testing process.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be available and able to work the agreed-upon shift.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and follow instructions.
Ability to operate and maintain equipment such as a chain hoist and pallet jack.
Must adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE such as steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures.
Basic mechanical knowledge; ability to use hand tools such as wrenches and blow guns.
Ability to use measuring tools like a tape measure.
Good communication skills for reporting issues.
Familiarity with quality standards and testing procedures.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
Ability to read and follow blueprints and detailed instructions.
Essential Functions
Retrieve cooler from pallet and hoist onto test tank manually or with a chain hoist.
Use wrench to insert plug and attach hose.
Lower cooler into water, check for air bubbles or leaks.
Remove and dry expansion plug with blow gun.
Remove hose and lift cooler from tank.
Document and stamp the cooler after testing.
Return cooler to pallet and direct to repair if leaks are present.
Learn different plugs used in the tank fittings.
Meet production quotas as assigned.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area.
Report issues to supervisor immediately.
Follow all EMS policies and procedures.
Regular attendance is required; see employee handbook for policy.
