Volt is immediately hiring for Test Technician Engineer role in Carlsbad, Ca. 

 

The Test Technician Engineer supports manufacturing operations by performing, developing, and maintaining test processes that ensure products meet design and quality specifications. This role involves setting up and executing electrical, mechanical, or software based tests, troubleshooting failures, analyzing test data, and contributing to continuous improvement of production test systems.

As a Test Technician Engineer you will:

  • Set up and operate test station (high/low volt)

  • Analyze results against specifications

  • Recommend process improvements

  • Implement changes in testing protocols

  • Report any issues

  • Ability to work OT if necessary

  • Ability to stand for extended periods

  • Must be able to lift 25–40 lbs.

This is a full time opportunity.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree in electronics, engineering technology, or related field preferred

  • Available to work 2nd shift, 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm  

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, testing, assembly, or engineering support

  • Hands?on experience with electrical, mechanical, or software?based testing environments

  • Ability to set up and operate high and low voltage test stations

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving test failures

  • Ability to read and interpret test procedures, schematics, and specifications

  • Familiarity with data collection, test documentation, and basic reporting

  • Understanding of safety practices related to electrical and mechanical testing

 

Pay Rate:$25.00-30.00/hr
