Test Technician

Location: Batavia, OH
Pay: $20.00–$30.00/hr
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 3:15 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Summary

The Test Technician provides technical support for electronic testing operations. This role focuses on troubleshooting PCB assemblies, supporting production goals, and maintaining quality and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot electronic circuits and PCB assemblies to the component level.
  • Read schematics, diagrams, drawings, and test procedures.
  • Use electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and function generators.
  • Set up and maintain test stations.
  • Communicate issues or discrepancies to management and quality teams.
  • Train operators on testing procedures when needed.
  • Support production schedules and improve testing efficiency.
  • Maintain test equipment and keep work areas organized.
  • Provide technical support to operations as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of electronics testing or troubleshooting experience preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
