Description

Test Technician

Seeking a Test Technician for a leading technology company in Chelmsford MA. This is an exciting contract opportunity with potential for long-term employment. If you have a keen eye for detail and have an interest in working with electronics this is a great opportunity to grow in a hands-on role. In this role you"ll play a key part in assembling and/or testing cutting-edge products and systems in production.

Job Details:

  • Location: Chelmsford MA
  • Shift: Day Shift Full-Time Fulltime Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm
  • Starting Salary: 22.00 - 24.00/hour

What you will do:

  • Perform electrical and RF testing on systems sub-assemblies and circuit boards using manual and automated test equipment.
  • Work from Process/Work Instructions and test plans to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Use various measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements.
  • Document accurate data records and results test databases generate reports and assist in improving test procedures.
  • Basic troubleshooting / retesting of electronic assemblies.
  • Collaborate with production quality and engineering teams to improve throughput and continuous improvement.

What we are looking For:

  • Basic computer skills required including ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping work instructions and task confirmation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred.
  • Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment.
  • Strong work ethics and a reputation for punctuality and reliability with a desire to grow and learn in their role.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
