Test Technician Electronic Manufacturing
Location: Palatine, IL
Pay: $18 $20/hr (DOE)
Shift: 1st (7:00 AM 3:30 PM)
Overview
Hands-on role responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and validating electronic assemblies. Not entry-level.
Key Responsibilities
Test and troubleshoot PCB assemblies and electronic systems
Perform board-level repairs
Read schematics and technical documents
Use test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes)
Document results and support production/engineering teams
Requirements
2+ years of electronic testing experience (EMS preferred)
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read schematics and operate test equipment
High attention to detail
Preferred
Electronics degree or certification
Experience with IPC standards and ATE systems
