Job Duties

• Conduct product and equipment testing following established quality and safety procedures.
• Assemble and disassemble equipment using verbal and written instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and process diagrams.
• Record and maintain accurate test data, inspection results, and production documentation.
• Review work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to meet operational goals.
• Prioritize tasks, manage changing deadlines, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional testing, troubleshooting, and manufacturing support duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, process flow diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of quality standards, testing procedures, and manufacturing documentation.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a test technician.
• Industrial gas industry experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of testing techniques, equipment operation, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Ability to accurately document test results and maintain detailed records.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Must provide personal work tools, including wrenches, ratchets, socket sets, screwdrivers, and a multimeter.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment using hand tools.
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
• Ability to work overtime, including weekends, as required by production schedules.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.

What You Will Do

As a Test Technician you will assemble products, components, or equipment using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and assembly instructions. You will inspect completed assemblies, verify measurements, identify quality concerns, maintain organized work areas, and support production goals while following established manufacturing procedures and workplace safety standards.

A Test Technician supports manufacturing by assembling finished products through skilled workmanship, careful inspection, and attention to quality throughout the production process. This position combines technical assembly skills with mechanical aptitude and professionalism.

The Test Technician requires strong organizational ability, manual dexterity, and the ability to interpret assembly documentation while maintaining production quality and workplace safety. Successful candidates contribute directly to efficient manufacturing operations.
