Conducts a variety of tests and verifications on electro and electromechanical equipment, while providing accuracy, productivity and on-time delivery. Responsibilities: * Performs a range of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical testing of small parts or components in accordance with company instructions and procedures * Reviews shop traveler route card, or schematic drawings to confirm correct sequence of operation * Perform a variety of test to verify circuitry and to test effectiveness of components in amplifiers and electronic equipment. * Receive parts or units from customers and troubleshoots circuits and components using schematic drawings and prints as a verifying check. * Perform test and diagnostics using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVM, signal generators, power meters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, frequency counters and other related test equipment * Sets up test equipment and tests per specification * Performs troubleshooting and failure analysis of analog and digital circuitry malfunctions to the micro component level * Provides detailed written failure description with root cause analysis to production and engineering * Follows written and verbal instructions, adheres to all company guidelines, policies and procedures * Maintains a safe and clean work environment, an acceptable safety record and follows company safety rules * Other responsibilities as assigned * Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary Job Specifications: Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field Years of Experience (Required): 1+ Skills and Knowledge: * Strong electrical background with understanding of microelectronics. * Strong knowledge in testing, debugging and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies * Good reading and comprehension skills to understand regulations and instructions * Ability to analyze and determine methods and procedures * Good oral and written communication skills and attention to detail * Proficient Microsoft Windows software applications If you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
