We are seeking an experienced Electronics Test Technician to perform board- and system-level testing in a low-volume, high-mix electronics manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and validating electronic assemblies while ensuring quality, reliability, and compliance with company and government standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform board- and system-level testing using computerized and analog test equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies to the component level.
  • Reload software/firmware as needed.
  • Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Perform hand soldering and rework of electronic components.
  • Set up and operate test equipment following established procedures.
  • Document test results and recommend process improvements.
  • Assist with assembly of advanced electronic products as needed.
  • Follow all quality, safety, and government contract requirements.

Qualifications

  • Technical certificate in Electronics or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of electronics manufacturing, testing, or troubleshooting experience.
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuits, schematics, and diagnostic equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder due to government contract requirements.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity for soldering and electronic repairs.
  • Ability to distinguish wire colors and audible test signals.
  • Occasional international travel (UK) for training may be required.
