Description:
Diversified Systems is searching for a Tester to serve as a highly skilled testing resource responsible for planning, constructing, and executing testing activities for enterprise applications and release processes. The successful candidate will support quality assurance efforts through test planning, test execution, requirements analysis, test environment support, and release validation activities.

Responsibilities:

• Create test models for product testing and release control, including test plans, test data, and test scripts.
• Execute assembly and product testing activities.
• Meet time estimates for assigned tasks.
• Communicate accurate status updates.
• Follow established quality standards.
• Work effectively within a team environment.
• Complete assigned tasks and deliverables.
• Define product test plans and acceptance criteria.
• Resolve testing process questions and issues.
• Assist in the planning, creation, and control of test environments.
• Assist Team Leads in monitoring estimated-time-to-complete (ETC) and actual effort for assigned tasks.
• Enhance testing skills and build technical and business knowledge.
• Update and test release installation procedures.
• Stay informed of industry developments and testing practices and apply them as appropriate.
• Determine time estimates and schedules for testing efforts.
• Define and utilize entry and exit criteria for testing activities.
• Manage assigned work and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• 4-year college degree required.
• 3 years of experience creating test models for product testing and release control, including plans, data, and scripts required.
• 3 years of experience analyzing data elements within enterprise applications and determining how data elements relate to one another required.
• 3 years of experience using Microsoft products including SQL, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required.
• 3 years of experience working on Agile projects required.
• 3 years of experience analyzing business requirements, including functional and non-functional requirements required.
• 3 years of experience using version control tools such as Git or comparable versioning tools required.
• Knowledge of formal requirements gathering methodologies required.
• Experience utilizing Agile toolsets including Git and Azure required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team required.
• Ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines required.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills required.
