We are looking for a Tester - 1st Shift
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM; M- F
$23.00/hr.
Testers are responsible for Test Stand setup and must possess a strong understanding of assembly processes, including the following:
- Select and set up the appropriate test block for the product being tested.
- Select and implement the correct test procedures.
- Verify that the test block and test program correspond to the item being tested.
- Install required fittings accurately and safely.
- Identify and report non-conforming assembly errors before and during product testing.
- Check and verify oil levels and oil temperature prior to the start of each shift.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
- Tag, document, and process non-conforming materials according to established procedures.
- Communicate Test Bench concerns promptly and effectively using the WERMA system.
- Interpret and manage work center schedules through the SAP system.
- Lifting up to 40-50lbs
The Tester plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, equipment reliability, and compliance with testing procedures and production schedules.
