The Tester plays a key role in ensuring high product quality, reliability, and strict compliance with testing protocols and production schedules. Key duties include setting up Test Stands, which requires a solid understanding of assembly operations and the ability to execute the following:
Select and set up the appropriate test block for the product being tested.
Select and implement the correct test procedures.
Verify that the test block and test program correspond to the item being tested.
Install required fittings accurately and safely.
Identify and report non-conforming assembly errors before and during product testing.
Check and verify oil levels and oil temperature prior to the start of each shift.
Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
Tag, document, and process non-conforming materials according to established procedures.
Communicate Test Bench concerns promptly and effectively using the WERMA system.
Interpret and manage work center schedules through the SAP system.
