Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Tester Senior for a Contract with a client in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate will lead the planning, execution, and communication of UAT activities to ensure business requirements are successfully validated before deployment.

Rate Range: $50/Hour to $55/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Tester Senior Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities between business stakeholders and product teams to ensure successful validation of new functionality.

• Develop and maintain UAT test cases, scripts, test data, and validation checklists based on business requirements and process flows.

• Track, document, and prioritize defects, risks, and testing issues, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive timely resolution.

• Lead UAT readiness reviews, testing sessions, and stakeholder communications to ensure alignment on testing objectives and release expectations.

• Monitor testing progress, consolidate results, and provide status updates, quality summaries, and readiness assessments to leadership.

• Support continuous improvement of UAT processes, documentation standards, and collaboration practices to enhance testing effectiveness and product quality.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 3+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), software testing, business analysis, product support, or a related role.

• Strong working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Demonstrated experience coordinating testing activities, managing defects, and collaborating with cross-functional business and product teams.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
