Title: Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) Technician Assistant
Schedule:  (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Location: Bayamon, Puerto Rico

POSITION DESCRIPTION
As a Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) Technician Assistant, you will work side-by-side with Lead Technicians, providing critical, hands-on support in evaluating and optimizing industrial climate control and ventilation (HVAC) systems. This is an exceptional entry-level gateway into a highly specialized, high-demand technical trade. You will gain invaluable experience ensuring these systems work in strict compliance with engineering designs and strict pharmaceutical and healthcare regulatory standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Field Testing Support: Assist Lead Technicians in taking precise physical measurements of airflow, pressure differentials, temperature, and humidity across commercial and industrial facilities.
  • Balancing Assistance: Actively support the mechanical adjustment and balancing of air distribution networks to align with specific project blueprint targets.
  • Instrumentation & Care: Safely handle, transport, and maintain specialized diagnostic and calibration equipment (such as flow hoods and manometers) under close professional supervision.
  • Technical Blueprint Introduction: Learn to read and assist in interpreting basic mechanical schematics, airflow/waterflow diagrams, and engineering specifications.
  • Safety & Tool Management: Ensure all specialized tools are organized, calibrated, and readily available at the job site, maintaining a clean workspace in strict alignment with facility safety protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Required Experience: Entry-Level (No prior TAB experience required; the client will provide full training!).
  • Technical Aptitude: An entry-level background or basic exposure to technical trades (e.g., HVAC helper, automotive mechanics, electrical work, construction, or general industrial maintenance).
  • Hands-on Skill: Comfort and natural capability working with standard hand tools and basic measurement instruments.
  • Mobility & Flexibility: Absolute availability and willingness to travel to different projects and client facilities across Puerto Rico.
  • Professional Drive: A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude, a strong commitment to following strict safety protocols, and a desire to build a long-term career.
  • License: A valid driver's license is highly preferred.
EDUCATION
  • Minimum Requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent completed.
  • Preferred Asset: Current enrollment in, or graduation from, a Technical/Vocational program in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Industrial Mechanics, Electromechanics, or Building Maintenance is highly valued (but not mandatory if you possess strong mechanical aptitude).
