QUALIFICATIONS

•              5+ years in textile or apparel manufacturing engineering
•              Experience with garment construction, CAD systems, and production workflows

•              Proven project management and cross-functional leadership experience
•              Degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience)

We’re hiring a Textile Product Development Engineer in Pittsfield, Maine (On-Site, Full-Time) to drive apparel product development, textile engineering, and manufacturing process optimization. This direct-hire role is ideal for a results-driven engineer passionate about garment production, quality, and efficiency.

You’ll lead textile product development from concept through production, utilizing CAD systems such as Gerber AccuMark, Lectra, or Optitex to develop patterns and production-ready designs. This role focuses heavily on cutting, sewing, pressing, and packing processes, while improving production line balancing, workflow efficiency, and labor standards. You’ll apply Statistical Process Control (SPC), support lean manufacturing initiatives, and ensure high-quality output.
